Well we made it to Fenton MI on Saturday night at about midnight Michigan time. We’re just settling in right now and boy are we tired! I’m not looking forward to 4 more nights on an air mattress, but at least we have our own apartment with a front door that locks. Such a luxury after living in 1 room for 6 months!
The apartment is beautiful and very very quiet. It’s brand new and so clean and nice. The people in MI are friendly overall, much more so than in California of course. We do feel a little targeted by state troopers…we got 2 speeding tickets on the drive up here…so we’ll both be trying to change our plates asap. 
About the only “bad” thing is that Darian cries everytime he sees the car. He just hates the thought of getting back in that carseat! He’s being “challenging” right now because he’s cutting 5 teeth at the same time. My sweet, sunny child is throwing tantrums and biting…not fun! He’s probably confused too since this is all so many changes in his life in a short amount of time. Hopefully he will settle down once he realizes we are going to be staying here!
I’m grateful and happy that God let everything go SO smoothly. I’m typing on my sisters laptop so I better sign off now. I will update as soon as the truck comes with our stuff and we get our own ‘puter set up.
