Dh just called me and said that he clipped a cement pole at a gas station in Toledo. Must’ve done a little more than clip it, because it tore off the bumper and cut the brake line of the truck. Good thing he went with his gut feeling and decided to get insurance, which I told him not to get-waste of money, right?

Yeah, waste of money usually, but today so far he’s been

towed- $35

new truck- $900 (if no insurance)

3 guys to move stuff out of old truck and put it in new truck-$20/hr x 3=$60 x 2hours =$180

So, he might be out some money for a hotel tonight if he can’t make it all the way here, which he probably can’t since it’s already 2:20 ish and the repacking guys haven’t shown up yet, but…it could have been way, way worse.
