******************************************8

Have you ever heard of Soapnuts? They are an all-natural alternative to laundry detergent. Just pop a couple in the little bag provided and wash it along with your clothes. The trial bag of 2 oz. does 8 loads of laundry, and there are no chemicals, toxins, perfumes, or harsh detergents to worry about. I’m not too sure why or how Soapnuts work, but as with most things beyond my powers of deduction I blindly follow what I read on the internet. And there are lots of places selling Soapnuts, so they must be good, right? Don’t answer that. Actually, I just did a load of pretty smelly laundry and was quite amazed by the performance of this funny-looking natural product.

And guess what? I have 6 sample sized bags ready to send out to 6 randomly lucky people! All you have to do is leave a response under this post. You have until midnight EST on Thursday (that’s tonight, folks). Get crackin’! And if you’ve used Soapnuts before, make sure to post and tell us what you think.

I’ve used them and they worked fine. I used the unscented ones, and they kind of made my clothes smell like food. Not sure which food. Maybe something savory. But I liked them all the same! I’m having lots of giveaways at my blog. You should come on by! http://nowenteringmomville.blogspot.com

I love ‘em! I find they don’t leave much of a scent, so I throw a sock with a couple of drops of lavender essential oil on it into the dryer with the laundry. I also add a scoop of Oxyclean when I wash whites.

Also saw your post on GCM! I *love* soapnuts. I have, however, more than once forgotten about them and tossed them in the dryer, where they melted together - LOL… I use mine in cold water, no problems, just run some hot water through them before tossing them in the wash. As for HE washers, they are perfect for them because they don’t make suds (it’s too many suds that cause problems for HE washers - go ahead, ask me how I know *sigh*).

I have heard so much about these, and have been telling my hubby I wanted to try them for some time now. I like the fact that they can be used more than once and are not harmful and full of chemicals.
